Community Engagement Grants focus on programs and projects that bring together MTNA teachers, students and the local community, and focus on projects that engage the community in making music, appreciating music, or attending live music events. These grants, of up to $750, are available to local and state affiliates, as well as individuals who wish to create a local community project. This grant is not intended to provide operating funds.

  • Discovery Adventure Project
  • Bringing Music to Rural Montana
  • Music Alive! in the Yakima Valley - Collective Songwriting Project
  • Ukulele Club at Pleasant Lea Middle School
  • MTNA/Boise State Subsidized Music Lesson Program
  • Noteworthy Students - Noteworthy Students raises funds to continue private violin lessons for current scholarship students and adds a new student to the scholarship roster each fall
